I recently had a root canal, a filling, and a crown done here, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This is my first time ever writing a dental review, but I really wanted to share my positive experience. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Dr. Mehdi Shadaloie was extremely meticulous, and I truly felt like I was being taken care of with the utmost sincerity. I am very satisfied with my treatment and highly recommend this clinic!Posted on Shayeste RazavionTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took my daughter to Dr. Karimi’s clinic today for a check-up and dental cleaning, and we had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hygienist who treated my daughter was gentle, patient, and very professional. She made my daughter feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. The clinic is clean, modern, and very well organized. Dr. Karimi, as the clinic owner, was very kind and attentive. She greeted us warmly and you can really see how well she manages the clinic and cares about the patients’ experience. The whole team reflects her professionalism and positive attitude. My daughter left happy and relaxed, which says a lot after a dental visit. I highly recommend Dr. Karimi’s clinic to anyone looking for a caring and professional dental team.
RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY IN TORONTO – BRIDGES & CROWNS
At Walk-in Dental Clinic, North York, Toronto, our restorative dental services include, bridges and crowns. If your teeth have been lost or damaged, you need a dental crowns and bridges service, so you are able to restore your smile to its initial appearance and strength.
Many dentists provide extensive restorative dentistry for patients who suffer from typical oral health problems that need significant care. These methods can coincide with cosmetic dentistry procedures as modern restorations are established to appear and feel natural or enhances one’s present look. Although a number of dentists can perform different restorative procedures, there may still exist a gap in the quality a cosmetic dentist may offer over a general or family dental specialist. Restorative dentistry processes are very common amongst general dentists, and usually involves the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the teeth, gums and the jaw and face.
Crowns
A dental crown is a cap that is put on top of a tooth to revive its shape, size, and strength. Crowns are mainly used for a broken tooth or to support a large filling. They are also helpful in holding dental bridges in place when you have lost one or more teeth.
Crowns are used to cover damaged, cracked, chipped teeth, or to basically restore teeth. When cemented into place, they fully cup over the portion of a tooth, which lies above the gum line. Dentists will match the color of your actual teeth to give you a natural look and feel.
Placing a dental crown normally requires two visits. In the first visit, we prepare patients’ teeth by removing damaged structures. We then take impressions of the prepared tooth used to craft a custom crown. Meanwhile, patients put on a temporary crown to protect the prepared tooth. When the custom restoration is finished, patients comes back to our office to exchange the temporary for the permanent crown. Like dental crown placement, fixed bridges substitutes missing teeth by fixing up to three replacement teeth to two crowns that are attached to normal teeth on each side, offering support for the replacements. Fixed bridge restoration also takes two appointments to complete.
Bridges
If you have one or more teeth missing, a dental bridge can help connect the gaps left behind. A bridge is typically made of at least two crowns used to anchor the bridge to the neighboring natural teeth. Connected to the crowns is the false teeth that replace the ones you lost.
A dental bridge is a custom device fixed to neighboring teeth that acts as replacements for missing teeth. A tooth or teeth replaced with bridgework are therefore substituted by a more natural-looking prosthetic (replacement) that is held together with the teeth on each side of the one missing.
